Brittlyn Dawn Scott, age 9, of Portageville, Mo., formerly of Clarkton Mo., died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, in Holcomb, Mo.
She was born June 18, 2003, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., to Scottie and Jamie Vires.
Survivors include her parents, Scottie and Jamie Vires; a sister, Braelyn Vires; her maternal grandparents, Brett and Janet Scott of Clarkton, Mo.; her paternal grandparents, Scott Vires of Portageville, Mo., and Christine Vires, also of Portageville, Mo.; her aunts, Elizabeth Scott of Clarkton, Mo., and Tabatha Crow and husband Jeremy of Clarkton; and cousins, Breana and Kamdym Scott of Clarkton, Mo. Other relatives and many friends also survive.
A sister, Brooklyn Leann Scott, also died Aug. 3, 2012.
Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden, Mo. Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden, Mo., with Rev. Jack Allen officiating. Interment will follow in the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Mo.
