Four Dexter residents were injured in an accident Saturday evening on County Road 624, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The patrol states Jennifer Hovis, 28, was eastbound when she ran off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected and ran off the left side of the road, then overturned.
Hovis and three passengers all sustained minor injuries. All were taken by ambulance to Missouri Southern Healthcare for treatment. They included Jessica A. Carter, 22, Xavier R. Hovis, 2, and Leslie M. Stone, 21. Only Stone was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
