Celebrating 70 years of marriage

Charles and Edith Shipman will be celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary on Saturday, May 26, 2012 from 2 until 5 p.m. at a reception in their honor at the fellowship Building of the Dexter Church of Christ on N. One Mile Road in Dexter.

The couple's children invite all friends and family to share the day with the Shipmans. The couple requests that the presence of friends be their only gift. The Shipmans were wed on May 23, 1942 in Dexter.
