Lois Margaret Goza, 87, of Sikeston, Mo. died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at the Sikeston Convale-scent Center. She was born Nov. 7, 1923, in Marks, Miss., to the late John Scott and Mayne Juanita Lay Pratt. Living in both Scott and Stoddard counties, she was a housewife and homemaker, and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Sikeston.
She was married to Hutson L. Goza, Sr., for 41 years, and he preceded her in death Jan. 31, 2011.
Also preceding her in death were one daughter, Gail King, one brother, Marvin Pratt, and one granddaughter.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Hutson Lee, Jr. and Marci Goza of Pineville, La.; three daughters and one son-in-law, Carol McDonough of Dexter, Mo.; Linda and Ron Underwood of Sikeston, Mo.; and Cathy Christian of Dexter, Mo.; and one brother, John Pratt of Springfield, Mo. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will follow in the Nunnelee Chapel at 12 noon, with the Rev. Hutson L. Goza, Jr., of Pineville, La., officiating.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, Mo.
