Route 91 in Stoddard and Cape Counties will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction while contractor crews perform milling and asphalt paving.
This section of roadway is located from Rt. 61 in Scott Co. to Rt. 25 in Stoddard Co.
Weather permitting, the work will begin Monday, Aug. 29 through Thursday, Sept. 30 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily including some weekends.
In addition, Rt. Y in Stoddard County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction while MoDOT crews chip seal the roadway.
This section of road is located from Rt. Z to the railroad tracks at the Kitty Litter Plant.
Weather permitting, that project will be performed Wednesday, Aug 24 through Tuesday, Aug. 30 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
The work zones will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the areas.
