Marilyn Taylor Williams, daughter of Mary Ellen Taylor of Dudley and the late Bayless E. Taylor, Jr., was born on Aug. 12, 1954, at Dexter and died at her residence in Wappapello on Sept. 9, 2009 at the age of 55. Marilyn was a member of the Liberty Hill General Baptist Church at Aid, the owner of Fiddler's Restaurant in Dexter, was the former Representative for the 159th District to the Missouri House of Representatives, the former Director of the Missouri Division of Professional Registration, the Chief of Staff for the Missouri Senate Minority Floor Leader, Maeda Coleman.. ...

Marilyn Taylor Williams, daughter of Mary Ellen Taylor of Dudley and the late Bayless E. Taylor, Jr., was born on Aug. 12, 1954, at Dexter and died at her residence in Wappapello on Sept. 9, 2009 at the age of 55.

Marilyn was a member of the Liberty Hill General Baptist Church at Aid, the owner of Fiddler's Restaurant in Dexter, was the former Representative for the 159th District to the Missouri House of Representatives, the former Director of the Missouri Division of Professional Registration, the Chief of Staff for the Missouri Senate Minority Floor Leader, Maeda Coleman.

She is survived by two sons, Richard Charles Williams of Dudley and Roy Lynn Williams of Dexter; her mother, Mary Ellen Taylor of Dudley; one grandson, Tayton Charles Williams; her companion, Barry Buchanan of the home; her brother, Bayless Taylor and wife Vicki of Dexter; two sisters, Debby Worley and husband John of Wappapello and Cheryl Edwards of Sikeston.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
