The 2013 Early Bird Baseball Clinic will take place Nov. 9 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Clara Drinkwater Newnam Auditorium at Charleston High School.
Cost to attend the clinic is $35. Anyone who wants to learn more about the game of baseball may attend the clinic.
Everyone in attendance will be entered in a drawing for the following prizes: Nike Turf Shoes, Nike BP Jacket, Nike Sunglasses, Fungo briefcase and a dozen Wilson game balls.

1 p.m. to 1:05 p.m. - Welcoming by Charleston baseball coach Michael Minner
1:05 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. - "The offensive approach" by Shawnee Community College coach Greg Sheppard
1:30 p.m. to 1:55 p.m. - "The recruiting process' by Mineral Area Community College coach Blake Jones
1:55 p.m. to 2:20 p.m. - "Leading your team from behind the plate" by St. Louis Community College coach Tony Dattoli
2:20 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. - "What the college recruiter is looking for" by Southeast Missouri State University pitching coach Lance Rhodes
2:45 p.m. to 3:10 p.m. - break/meeting with vendors
3:10 p.m. to 3:35 p.m. - "The umpire-coach relationship' by SEMO Umpires Association representative George Bays
3:35 p.m. to 4 p.m. - "Poise on the mound, how to win at the collegiate level" by Rend Lake coach Tony Etnier
4 p.m. to 4:25 p.m. - "Navigating the infield" by Murray State coach Rob McDonald
4:25 p.m. to 4:50 p.m. - "The most important unimportant position: outfield" by Three Rivers Community College assistant coach Joe Scarano
4:50 p.m. to 5 p.m. - Closing remarks and door prizes
5 p.m. - Dinner at the Dugout
