Advance High School's homecoming saw the Hornets face Bernie in basketball, with Bernie winning 72-41. Emma Eilers and Hunter Rodgers were crowned homecoming queen and king, respectively.

Advance High School celebrated homecoming on Thursday night when the Hornets played Bernie in boys basketball. Bernie won the game 72-41.

After the game, Advance junior Emma Eilers was crowned homecoming queen, while classmate Hunter Rodgers was crowned homecoming king.

Bernie led 21-8 after the opening period and pushed its lead to 40-21 by halftime. The Mules led 52-36 going to the fourth quarter.

Cane Hobgood paced Bernie with 24 points, while Jon Aycock added 20, Blayne Morgan had 11 and Hunter Massey finished with 10.

Brodie Rodgers led Advance with 15 points, while Hunter Rodgers had 10.
