Stoddard County Sheriff’s Department announced Friday the death of Corp. Darren Dixon, 47, of Advance. “Corp. Dixon served Stoddard County passionately since 2020,” Sheriff Carl Hefner said in a statement. “Corp. Dixon was pronounced (dead) at his residence on June 21, 2024, at approximately 11:07 a.m. by Stoddard County Coroner Brent Stidham.”...
