Fisk councilman permanently barred from office

A Fisk city councilman was officially removed from office Monday due to a decade-old drug conviction. According to a judgment in quo warranto issued by the Butler County Circuit Court, “Raymond Stewart Jr. was not qualified to hold public office, including the elected position of City Councilman for the City of Fisk, MO, because Respondent had previously been found guilty of ‘Conspiracy to Distribute Pseudoephedrine Knowing it Would be Used to Manufacture Methamphetamine.’”...
