Search for missing Sikeston hunter continues in Carter County

An ongoing search and rescue for a Sikeston, Missouri, hunter missing since late Sunday continues in Carter County. According to Ozark National Scenic Riverways, National Park Service personnel along with Missouri Highway Patrol Aviation Division, Missouri Department of Conservation and Carter County Emergency Response teams have been combing the ground near Cave Spring southeast of Van Buren to locate 58-year-old Phillip Carnell of Sikeston, who was reported missing Sunday evening when he didn't come in from hunting near Cave Spring.. ...

Dexter students help others at Moonlight Madness

Landon Jarrell and Reanna Laden have a tradition each year at Moonlight Madness. These Dexter High School Students were not looking for a great deal at a local store. They were helping others. The duo once again braved the cold windy conditions selling hot cocoa and cookies on Stoddard Street. This year the proceeds from their booth went to the CLASS orginization.
