The Dexter 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams recently held their annual Hits for Hope match. The teams raised nearly $5,000 which was donated to 18 For Life. Pictured above are members of the Dexter 7th and 8th grade volleball teams.

A Bernie man is in custody following the discovery of drugs and drug paraphernalia in his home near Bernie. Chief Deputy Andy Holden, with the Stoddard County Sheriffs Office, said James Edward Jankowski, 56 of Bernie was taken into custody on Wednesday.
