SoutheastHEALTH of Stoddard County is currently working through a facility assessment following the damage received from Saturday evening's storm. No timeline has been identified as to when the hospital will be able to safely open its facility. The staff is working to contact patients for the rescheduling of Monday's clinic visits to a later date. ...

Preliminary reports from the National Weather Service say an EF-2 tornado struck Dexter Saturday evening. “The National Weather Service arrived here in town at noon today, and have relayed preliminary information that this is a potential EF-2 tornado with approximate 120mph wind gusts,” said Stoddard County EMA Director Andrew Bohnert. “Their survey is ongoing.”...
