County siren test postponed

Stoddard County EMA Director, Andrew Bohnert, has announced the postponement of today's monthly test of the Stoddard County emergency sirens. This test was originally scheduled for last Wednesday, June 2 but was postponed due to weather. Weather has again forced the test to be postponed. Bernie woman seriously injured in head on crash

A two-vehicle accident in Stoddard County resulted in serious injuries for a Bernie woman. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred at 5:20 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, on Highway 25, one mile south of Bernie. A 1997 Chevrolet Silverado operated by Gunner J. $7M in pavement improvements planned across five area counties

Butler County will see more than $1 million in paving improvements after contracts were awarded recently by the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission.
