Stars and Stripes Museum to hold benefit event for young cancer patient

The National Stars and Stripes Museum in Bloomfield is sponsoring a Special Kids Day event for Kyran Mitchell a local nine-year-old who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in early 2020.The event is on May 22, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Proceeds from this event will go to support Kyran's cancer treatment with a specialist in New York City. Modern Woodmen of America has agreed to make a matching donation to Kyran and his family based on the proceeds of up to $2500. ...

Stars and Stripes Museum to open extended hours during 100 Mile Yard Sale

The Stars & Stripes Museum will be open extended hours 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the Memorial Weekend 100 Mile Yard Sale on Hwy 25. Admission will be free to the Museum. Vendor Spots are available Thursday, May 27 through Monday, May 31. The space is 20’X20’ and ideal for large items. Space will also be available inside the barn.
