Domestic dispute injures one

The Dexter Police Department responded to a domestic dispute that resulted in the injury of a female on Susan Street Thursday evening. Dexter Police Chief Trevor Pulley said a firearm was accidentally discharged during the dispute. Pulley said one male taken into custody is facing charges. Nine new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Stoddard County by Ben Godwin, Director of the Stoddard County Health Center. The county now sits at 264 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 27 active cases, 228 recoveries and nine deaths. “In order to best protect yourselves, you should treat everyone as they may be a source of COVID-19,” said Godwin.”You should distance yourselves accordingly.
