Dexter resident leaves $8M to Shriners Hospital

A late Dexter resident who supported many worthy Stoddard County projects has donated more than $8.4 million to Shriners Hospitals for Children - St. Louis. Ben Godwin, Director of the Stoddard County Health Center, confirmed no new cases of COVID-19 and two recoveries in the county. One recovery is outside of the nursing home outbreak and one recovery is in the nursing home. Ben Godwin, Director of the Stoddard County Health Center, has has released a breakdown of active COVID-19 cases in each community in Stoddard County. The breakdown is Bloomfield with one case, Dexter with 10 cases, Dudley and Painton each have one case. Puxico has three confirmed active cases.
