At a special meeting Tuesday evening, the Dexter School Board was dissolved and reorganized after approving the results of the school board election that took place on June 2. Ben Worley retained his spot on the board while Saren Demaree and Ron Glaus were elected newcomers to the board. Stoddard County has a seventh death related to COVID-19, Ben Godwin, Director of the Stoddard County Health Center confirmed on Wednesday. This is the first death not related to the nursing home outbreak. “The virus is still very much in our county,” said Godwin in a news release. “We ask everyone to do their best to continue practicing social distancing and limit possible exposure by avoiding large gatherings.”...
