West Grant Street remained closed for a time Thursday morning at the intersection with Forrest Street due to downed limbs and power lines. Geneva Crank, daughter of the late Elva Fisher and Katie Jackson Fisher, was born on January 11, 1923 in Aid, Mo. and departed this life on May 29, 2019 at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Center in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 96 years. Mrs. Crank was a member of First Baptist Church in Dexter and she enjoyed reading her bible every day. Geneva was a homemaker and she loved to sew and decorate eggs. She made jewelry from beads and was known as the Bead Lady at the nursing home...
