The slow death of Stoddard County Progressive Industries continued Thursday night, as the Senate Bill 40 board voted to go to court to force an eviction of the group from current location. SB40, the funding arm for programs that support Stoddard County disabled residents, also voted down a request from Progressive Industries for additional equipment and took no action on a new contract with the group...

The Stoddard County Emergency Management Agency will be able to partner with a military exercise this summer to fulfill a state requirement. According to Stoddard County EMA Director Kent Polsgrove, a full scale exercise will be held in Sikeston June 10 to set up the mobile hospital’s main pod and two legs acquired from Missouri Delta Hospital...

The Dexter Board of Aldermen is expected to approve an “inflated” $12.2 million operating budget at its upcoming June 3 meeting.
