History comes alive at Central School

Each year in Nicole Guethle's fifth grade classroom, students participate in a living wax museum, with each student portraying an explorer. The students dress in character and when prompted, give an oral history of their character. Students presented their characters to their fellow students on Tuesday, Nov. 24 in the school gymnasium. SCAA all-conference volleyball awards released

The 2015 SCAA all-conference volleyball awards were recently released. Dexter sophomore Krysten Garrison was selected as the SCAA Player of the Year. Garrison finished her sophomore season with a team-high 295 kills. Dexter senior Brittany Brown and Woodland senior Chelsea Cureton were selected as the SCAA Co-Defensive Players of the Year.
