Dexter baseball game suspended at Sikeston

SIKESTON, Mo. - Rain halted the Dexter-Sikeston varsity baseball game Monday afternoon at Sikeston before it could be declared an official game. Play was suspended with Sikeston leading Dexter 8-0 with two outs in the bottom of the third inning. Moderate rainfall began falling about 15 minutes before the first pitch in Sikeston and increased in intensity in the third inning.
