POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. - The Bell City Cubs suffered a 53-34 loss to No. 3 ranked South Iron Saturday afternoon at Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff. South Iron jumped out to an early 16-2 lead in the first quarter. Hans Porter, a former resident of Dexter, Mo. died on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center at the age of 61. Funeral arrangements are incomplete, but will be handled by Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
