Commission looks into body cameras for officers

The Stoddard County Commission invited Sheriff Carl Hefner to address them about the feasibility of having officers wear body cameras. Hefner attended the regular meeting Monday. The crowds came, the barbeque was hot, the entertainment thrilled, the Color Burst walkers and runners walked and ran, prizes were doled out, and to top it all off, the Bearcats beat the Kennett Indians 35-34. DEXTER, Mo. - The Dexter varsity volleyball team received one of its toughest SCAA conference tests of the season Monday night but ultimately prevailed with a 25-11, 25-16 victory against the Puxico Indians.
