A $500 scholarship was presented by the DHS Class of 1959 to a Three Rivers College Dexter Center student on Wednesday. The Keller Public Library has been awarded a grant in the amount of $4916.00 to be used to replace five public access computers in the library's computer lab it was announced recently. Library Director Pamela Trammell said that the computer lab is accessed an average of 548 times per month by patrons seeking information, education and digital skill advancement...

PISO POINT, Mo. -- A Wappapello, Mo., man was charged Thursday with attempted drug trafficking after authorities seized nearly 1 1/2 pounds of what was described as pure methamphetamine and nearly $24,000 in cash from his Piso Point home. Thurman Ray Wallace Jr. was charged with the Class A felony of attempted first-degree trafficking by Wayne County Prosecuting Attorney Robert Ramshur, who charged the 53-year-old as a prior and persistent offender...
