Lura Marie Duley Leininger was born in Dexter on March 19, 1919. She had one brother that survived infancy, John Raymond Duley. He died young at the age of 57 from complications of Multiple Sclerosis. She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Rae (Jerry) Leininger Neisler, of Anaheim, Calif., two grandsons, Brett David Neisler of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Jared Jason Neisler of Anaheim, Calif. She was recently preceded in death by one grandson, Dana Wayne Neisler on Jan. 25, 2014...

Marlon "Hoop" Hoopingarner, son of the late Fred Hoopingarner and Zena Lucas Hoopingarner, was born on March 15, 1922, in Dexter and died on August 7, 2014, at Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter at the age of 92. Mr. Hoopingarner was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Dexter until ill health made it impossible. ...
