BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Seats were put in place for 40 people Saturday morning for the unveiling of a monument honoring the U.S. Navy Seabees at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield. Dorothy Harmon Beckman, daughter of the late Cleo Bowen Harman and Edith Ramsey Harmon was born on April 4, 1924, in Bernie and died on March 8, 2014, at Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter at the age of 89.
