Friday fire destroys rural Dexter home

NOREEN HYSLOP photo A Friday morning fire destroyed a rural Dexter home. The home, owned by Todd Wood, was unoccupied at the time of the fire, but was undergoing a remodeling project. When a passerby spotted flames coming from the home around 10:10 a.m., the home was already engulfed in flames. It was a total loss, according to Fire Chief Don Seymore.
