BERNIE, Mo. - On Thursday, April 26, 2012 Ginger Beaird, a teacher within the Bernie School District, was awarded the Meritorious Service to Education Award by the Missouri State Teachers Association. Beginning next Friday, May 4, the Historic Downtown Dexter Association (H.D.D.A.) will be sponsoring "First Fridays" in the downtown area.
