Karen Pippins, a resident of Dexter, died on Nov. 19, 2011 in the Saint Francis Medical Center at Cape Girardeau at the age of 54. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Steven Matthew Huffman died in his sleep, after a long battle with sarcoidosis, at his home in Waynesville on Friday, Nov. 11, 2011. Steven was born Dec. 4, 1976, in Columbia, Mo., to Eddie Dean Huffman and Jacquelyn Cato Huffman. Steven received his education in the Waynesville R-VI School District, graduating in 1995. He lived most of his adult life in Springfield, Mo., and worked in the family dry-cleaning business, construction, and at Kraft Foods before his illness...

Karen Ann Pippins, daughter of Kyle and Alta Gordon, who preceded her in death, was born on March 31, 1957 in Nevada, Missouri and died on November 19, 2011 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 54. Mrs. Pippins was a teacher in the Dexter Public School System for 30 years and had just retired in June. ...
