L.B. Williams, son of the late Mack McKinley Williams and Effie McCain Williams was born on March 21, 1930 in Bernie and died on Sept. 29, 2011 at the Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Center in Dexter at the age of 81. L.B. was a retired MFA Exchange truck driver and a former Bernie Police Dispatcher. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War. Betty Evans, a resident of Bloomfield, Mo. died on Oct. 1, 2011 at her residence in Bloomfield at the age of 80. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced by the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
