Local man arrested for crash

MOREHOUSE, Mo. - Four people were injured in a three car accident that led to one arrest on U.S. 60 on Saturday night. The accident occurred at 8:20 p.m. when a vehicle driven by Robert Stoner, 49, of Dexter, was traveling westbound in the eastbound lane of U.S. 60, one mile west of Morehouse. Paved roads to UP office dedicated

A large group gathered Monday morning near the Highway 60 and County Road 53 intersection to dedicate the new paved roads leading to the Union Pacific offices east of Dexter. Work began to lay the groundwork for the project 10 years ago, but the project was finally completed this summer. The $304,924.50 project was funded through a combination of public and private funds. The project included ditching, sub-structure work and paving on County Roads 531, 570 and 527 leading to the UP office...
