Marshall Mack Rankin, 84, of Benton, Mo., formerly of Cape Girardeau, beloved husband, father and grandfather went to be with Jesus, July 6, 2012 at his home surrounded by family.
He was born Sunday, October 30, 1927 in St. Louis, MO to the late Willis
Edgar and Myrtle (Clayton) Rankin.
He and Patricia Ann Hyslop were married Sunday, April 20, 1947 in
Bloomfield, MO.
Marshall served in the US Army Air Corp during WW II and served in the US
Marines during the Korean War.
He was a member of Unity Baptist Church, Benton, worked in auto sales both
locally and in California, worked for Potasnik over 10 years as a parts
manager, owned and operated a service station in California and Cape
Girardeau until 1972. Managed Rhodes City Truck Plaza until 1976 and was
sales manager for KAR products from 1976 - 1993.

Visitation will take place on Monday, July 9, 2012 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home.
Funeral will be Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Unity Baptist
Church, Benton, MO with Rev. Dennis Lowe, Rev. Dan Stevens and Rev. Kevin
Eskew officiating.
Burial will follow at Bloomfield Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Southeast Hospice.
