Dexter Police
June 4-5, 2014
* Larry G. Hughes, 57, of Dexter was issued a summons at 1306 Susan Street for tampering with waterworks.
* Christopher B. Jones, 42, was issued a summons for junk auto at 404 Boucher Street.
* A traffic stop this week led to two arrests by local police. At 6:54 p.m. on Monday, Phillip E. Bailey, Jr., 36, of Dexter was arrested at Business 60 and N. Elm Street. He was charged with driving while suspended of revoked. Also arrested was Jennifer M. Bailey, 28,of Gibson. She was charged on a warrant service out of Scott County for possession of a controlled substance.
* Linda C. Bresee, 56, was issued a summons at 705 W. Grant St. at 7:57 a.m. Wednesday for nuisance/junk.
* An accident at 1115 N. Hickory St. occurred at 12:18 p.m. Wednesday when vehicles driven by Gregory M. Lummukka and Scottie L. Jarrell, collided as one vehicle was backing out of the drive and the second vehicle was pulling in.

* Jeffrey Paul Doubbelare, 40, of Dexter was arrested on a warrant for driving while revoked. Bond was set at $1,500. Further charges are pending, and he remains in jail.
* Shawnta Michelle Gregory, 21, of Bernie was arrested on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $7,500 cash, and she remains in jail.
* Matthew Scott Williams, 25, of Holcomb was arrested on a warrant for second degree arson. Bond was set at $12,500, and he remains in jail.
