"Elvis" to take Fall Fest stage

An award winning Elvis impersonator will be appearing at Fall Fest in downtown Dexter this Saturday. Finley Watkins of Bernie started playing guitar and performing as Elvis at age five. He is now six and recently won second-place in Images of the King, an Elvis contest on Beale Street in Memphis, Tenn.Entertainment starts at 11 a.m. downtown. Food, crafts, a quilt display, a display of Evans Pottery and the Fifth Annual Pie Eating Contest, sponsored by Young Real Estate, LLC, will also take place during the day. Other activities include Rainbow Rental inflatables from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., chicken scratch for quarters at 3:30 p.m. and clown/balloon antics, all near the corner of Stoddard and Locust Streets.
