Stoddard County Sheriff Carl Hefner reported that on Feb. 8, at approximately 12:45 p.m., two subjects were arrested for illegal drug activity.
The arrests were the result of a vehicle stop on Mo. State Highway 25 near Dexter, Mo. According to the report, Deputy Andrew Johnson received permission from the driver of the vehicle to search the vehicle and its contents.
As a result of the search Johnson located, inside the vehicle, approximately 73.9 grams of marijuana packaged to sell along with several hydrocodone pills and drug paraphernalia. The two occupants of the vehicle were arrested and identified as: Kendra Causey, 28, of Malden, and Orbie Paul Wagoner, 34 of Malden. Causey is charged with the Class C Felony of possession of a controlled substance, and Wagoner is charged with the Class C Felony Possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $30,000, 10 percent cash only for both Causey and Wagoner.
Both subjects are currently in the Stoddard County Jail.
