The annual Kiwanis Pancake Day took place Saturday morning at the First Christian Church in Dexter. Proceeds from the event support numerous local organizations including: Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Boys and Girls State, Goodwill Games, Mother to Mother, Dexter Project prom, School supplies for Dexter Public Schools, Shop With a Hero, Special Olympics, Stoddard County Gospel Mission, Trunk or treat and UCAN. the Kiwanis also award two $1,500 scholarships.
