Stars and Stripes Historic Marker put in place at Bloomfield

Through the efforts of the Missouri Press Association and the Bloomfield Stars and Stripes Historic Cultural Byway Committee, a marker was put in place On Sat., Oct. 10 marking the birthplace of The Stars and Stripes. "Stripers" from across the country came to witness the unveiling of the marker and to visit the historical Stars and Stripes Museum/Library at Bloomfield.
