Kate Churchill was crowned the 2023 Fall Homecoming Queen prior to the football game against Caruthersville Friday night. Churchill is the daughter of Dan and Rhonda Churchill. Emma Dorton - Emma was nominated by the Girls Tennis Team and is a senior at DHS. She is the daughter of Brett and Christy Dorton. Emma is a member of Student Council, Pep Club, Beta Club, FCA, Varsity Tennis, Varsity Basketball Cheer, and Track & Field. After high school graduation, Emma plans to attend Arkansas State University and possibly major in Journalism or Sports Media. Emma was escorted by Landon Weathers. Landon is a senior at DHS and the son of Marilyn Rushing. Kate Churchill - Kate was nominated by the Girls Tennis team. She is the daughter of Dan and Rhonda Churchill and a senior at DHS. Kate is a member of STUCO, DECA, BETA, HOSA, jazz band, FCA, P7, scholar bowl,and book club, She is the president of FBLA and is also the varsity varsity band drum major. Kate is on the girls tennis and track teams, participates in the DHS musical, book club is in the top 10 percent of her class and is a member of the National Honor Society as well as the Dexter First Pentecostal Church. After high school, Kate plans to go to college and pursue a career in nursing. She will continue her nursing education and become a nurse practitioner or physician's assistant. Kate was by Garrett Coons. Garrett is a senior at DHS and is the son of Holly and Josh Coons. Addie Medley - Addie was nominated by the Football Cheerleaders and is a senior at DHS. She is the daughter of Mikey and Kelly Medley. She is a member of the Varsity Football Cheer, Varsity Dance team, FCA, National Honor Society, Chamber choir, the school musical, and is the President of the Beta Club. After graduation, Addie plans to attend Paul Mitchell Cosmetology School in Springfield, Mo, then return home to Dexter to open her own salon. Escorting Addie is Jaydan Willems. Jaydan is a senior at DHS and the son of Gerald and Misty Willems. Retiring 2022 queen - Alliye Lee. Escorting Alliye is her brother, Blake Lee. Alliye and Blake are the children of Ryan and Ariel Lee. Alliye was crowned Football Homecoming Queen last fall and she graduated from DHS in May. Alliye is currently attending Southeast Missouri State University, majoring in Early Childhood education. Her escort, Blake, is a sophomore at DHS and is a member of Stuco and FBLA as well as the Cross Country and Track teams. Shelby Driskill - Shelby was nominated by the Volleyball team. She is a senior at DHS and the daughter of Gena and Derek Driskill. Shelby is a member of FCA, FBLA, Varsity Volleyball, Pep club, and Beta. After graduation, Shelby plans on going the Arkansas State University and enroll in the Ultrasound Program. Shelby is escorted by Jackson Howard. He is the son of Wes and Bonnie Howard and a junior at DHS. Abbie Lloyd - Abbie was nominated by the cross country team and is a senior at DHS. She is the daughter of Shawn Lloyd and Jamie Rowe. She is a member of FCA, FCCLA, FBLA, BETA, and PEP Club. Abbie also participates in Cross Country, Basketball, Track. After high school graduation, Abbie plans to attend college and become a radiologist. Blair Medley - Blair was nominated by the Football team and is a sophomore at DHS. She is the daughter of Mikey and Kelly Medley. Blair is a member of the Varsity tennis team as well as FCCLA, FCA, DHS dance team. She is also involved in the school musical. After graduation, BlairÃ¢â¬â¢s future plans may include becoming an ultrasound tech. Escorting Blair is RJ Farmer. RJ is the son James Farmer and nephew of Paula Farmer. Cali White - Cali was nominated by the Football team and is a junior at DHS. She is the daughter of Courtney and Jason Cowell. Cali is a member of Beta Club, Hosa, Pep club, Stuco, volleyball, and she volunteers for the Red Cross. After graduation, Cali hopes to attend Mizzou and specialize in the health field. Caleb Gott is Cali's escort. He is a junior at DHS and the son of Aaron and Brooke Gott. Rylee Corlew - Rylee was nominated by the Football Cheerleaders. She is a senior at DHS and the daughter of Ryan and Jessica Lee. Rylee is a member of Senior beta, the Varsity Football Cheer team, Varsity Dance team, Chamber choir, and Show choir. She plans to attend Three Rivers Community College to obtain a degree in fine arts and pursue a career in photography and design. Rylee was escorted by Sabastian Ford, more affectionately known as Sea-Bass. Sea-Bass is a senior at DHS and the son of Jeff and Barbara Ford. Lilly Crockett - Lilly was nominated by the Cross Country team. She is a senior at DHS and the daughter of Rachel Jameson and David Crockett Lilly is a member of the Cross Country Team, Track Team, FBLA, FCCLA, and Pep Club, and Liberty Hill Youth Group. After high school graduation, she hopes to attend a Technical Skills school and to pursue a career in Graphic Design. Lilly's escort is Ben Dowdy. Brooke Lasater - Brooke was nominated by the Volleyball team and is the daughter of Tyler and April Lasater. She is a member of the varsity Volleyball team, FCCLA, FBLA, FCA, Pep Club, Beta, and National Honors Society. She is also a part of The Hub at Liberty Hill Church and the Social Media Director for FCA. After graduation, Brooke plans to go to Arkansas State University and get a bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Brooke was escorted by Sawyer Rascher.
