Bloomfield Middle School students had the opportunity to celebrate their academic success Thursday by sliming middle school principal Casey Karnes. "Celebrating growth in academic achievement is important to our climate and culture here at BMS," said Bloomfield Middle School Principal Casey Karnes. "We are always looking for fun ways to motivate and encourage our students to be the best versions of themselves and rise to their potential." "Each year, we take benchmark assessments at the beginning, middle, and end of the year. These assessments measure how well our students are performing on our Missouri Learning Standards so our teachers can target specific standards and plan instruction for our student," said Karnes. "This year, to celebrate growth on our end of the year assessments, students who demonstrated growth had the opportunity to slime Mrs. Karnes. Over 100 students qualified for this incentive!"
