2023 Corned Beef and Cabbage Event

The 2023 Corned Beef and Cabbage Event is being held today at the Sacred Heart Parish Center in Dexter. The meal will be served until 7 p.m. The generl store and charity drawing will also be held again this year. Four items will be available in the drawing. Visitors will have the opportunity to win a 72x92 inch hand pieced quilt donated by the Vivian Adkins Family, a maple platter wedding basket donated by local woodcarver and artist Jim Adkins, a duck hunt opportunity donated by the Legacy Duck Hunt Club and a painting entitled “Born in the Fall” by local artist Gail Walker. Blessing tickets for the drawing can be purchased for $1 or 6 tickets for $5. Tickets for the meal are available for $10. All proceeds go towards: Stoddard County Gospel Mission, Stoddard County Children’s Home, Stoddard County ARC, Meals on Wheels/The Lunch Box.
