Bernie 2023 Homecoming

The 2023 Bernie Homecoming Court.

The 2023 Bernie Homecoming King and Queen, Ryan Lawrence and Lilly Bridges.

The retiring king and queen were Noah Foster and Sierra Kirkpatrick. Sierra is the daughter of Terry and Kathy Kirkpatrick and is currently attending Arkansas State University. Noah is the son of Shannon and Pam Foster and is currently attending Three Rivers College.

The Flower girl, Chandler Bates, is the daughter of Dustin and Jade Bates. She enjoys making Tik Toks, watching makeup tutorials, going to church, competing in pageants both locally and nationally, as well as doing gymnastics, and dance. In the future, Chandler wants to own her own hair salon, where she will be a lash artist and cosmetologist just like her mom. The crown bearer, Boone Beaird, is the son of Jeff and Chasity Beaird. He enjoys playing basketball and riding his dirt bike. In the future, Boone wants to work at Southeast Coop like his dad.

Senior candidates are Lilly Bridges and Ryan Lawrence."Lilly is the daughter of Darla and Jimmy Bridges. She is the varsity volleyball team captain. the Senior Beta Treasurer, and the Student Council Secretary and Treasurer. She is active in Scholar Bowl, Pep Club, and she is the Senior Class Vice-President. Her future plans are to: attend Arkansas State University as an undergraduate student majoring in prepharmacy chemistry. Then, she will transfer to the Union University College of Pharmacy and obtain a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree. Ryan is the son of Amanda and Lee Lawrence. He is active in FCCLA, FBLA, Beta, Cross Country, and Basketball.

Junior candidates are Larissa Throckmorton and Preston Williams.Larrisa is the daughter of Linda Kirkpatrick and Larry Throckmorton.She is active in Volleyball, Cheer, Senior Beta, and Band. Preston is the son of Laura and Heath Williams. He is active in Basketball, and Cross Country. He takes classes for mechanics at Vo tech and he works with his dad at the school.

Sophomore candidates are: Rylie Powell and Blake Nash.Rylie is the daughter of Kris and Lori Powell. She is active in Senior beta, FCS, Volleyball, Softball, and Cheerleading. She is the FBLA Vice President, Student Council social chair, and yearbook editor. Blake is the son of Sara and Travis Nash. He is active in FBLA, FCA, FCCLA, Beta, FFA, Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, and he is the secretary of his class.

Freshmen candidates are: Tatum Anthony and Leighton Hicks.Tatum is the daughter of Jon and Kelli Anthony. She is active in FBLA, Senior Beta, Student Council, FCS, volleyball, and cheer. Leighton is the son of Dustin and Ashleigh Hicks. He is active in Baseball, basketball, FFA, Fbla, Beta, and Student Council.
