The annual4th of July Kids Parade was held in Downtown Dexter Monday morning. The parade began at the Municipal Building parking lot and stopped at the post office steps. There the kids recited the Pledge of Allegiance and sang patriotic songs.The parade then ended at the home of Dexter Mayor Jason Banken where the kids were treated to lemonade and cookies during a reception in the front yard.
