The 2022 Ben Kruse 18 Fore Life Banquet took place Friday evening at the Dexter Elks Lodge. those in attendance enjoyed a meal catered by the Dexter Elks, inspirational speeches by Lora Galati and Scott Hamilton and a concert by the Buzz.

    Kerri Kruse welcomed everyone to the event and offered the toast to the late Ben Kruse.

    The love offer speaker was Lora Galati. Galati spoke of how cancer has affected her family and the creation of the Larry and Kathy Jones Family H.O.P.E. Campaign.

    The guest speaker was Olympic gold medalist Scott Hamilton. Hamilton delivered an address sprinkled with humor and inspriration that told the story of his adoption, Olympic quest, and his and his mother's battles with cancer.

    Dave Ellinghouse lead the invocation.
  • *
    Co-founder of the 18 Fore Life charity, Scott Kruse spoke at the event. He said the charity has given more than $3.2 million in love offerings to those fighting cancer.
