Southwest students salute two veterans on Vetrans Day

Students from Southwest Elementary walked to the homes of two veterans to say thank you on Veterans Day. They walked to the homes of Walter Rushing and Willard Adams. The students presented homemade cards and books as well as flags. The students then sang a patriotic song to each veteran. The students were escorted by staff, parents and the Dexter Police Department.
