Bronwen Young was nominated by the varsity football cheerleaders.Bronwen is the daughter of Josh and Jessica Young. Bronwen is a member of the varsity football cheer squad, DHS marching band, and FCCLA. She is also in the top ten percent of her class and National Honor Society. Her future plans are to attend college and major in Nursing then pursue a career in pediatric oncology. Bronwen is escorted by Jackson Allen. Jackson is a senior at DHS and the son of Chad and Jill Allen. When asked to describe Bronwen, Jackson said she is outgoing, honest, and a lover of Harry Styles.

Chloe Thurmon is a senior at DHS and was nominated by the girls´ volleyball team. She is the daughter of Matt and Mindy Thurmon. Chloe is a member of Beta, National Honors Society, DECA, FCA, and PEP club. She also plays varsity volleyball. After high school, Chloe plans to attend college and pursue her volleyball career. Chloe is escorted tonight by Peyton Driskill. Peyton is a senior at DHS and the son of Gena and Derek Driskill. When asked to describe Chloe, Peyton said she is funny, nice, and smart.

Makenna Rodgers is a senior at DHS and was nominated by the girls' tennis team. She is the daughter of Darin and Peg Rodgers. Makenna is a member of FCA, STUCO, Beta, HOSA, and the girls´ tennis team. After high school, Makenna plans to attend college and become a counselor. Makenna is escorted tonight by Josh Alday. Josh is a junior at DHS and the son of Juan Alday. When asked to describe Makenna, he said that she is athletic, smart and outgoing.

Tristin Pullum is a senior at DHS and was nominated by the Varsity Football cheerleaders. She is the daughter of Natasha and Jason Fornkohl and Tyler Pullum. Tristin is a member of FBLA, pep club, DHS track team, Varsity football cheer squad, and the Kickin´ Cats dance team. After high school, Tristin plans to attend SEMO to become a registered nurse or a child life specialist. Tristin is escorted tonight by Colton Evans. Colton is a senior at DHS and the son of Curt Evans. Colton said three of his favorite things about Tristin would have to be her smile, her outgoing personality, and her boyfriend, Landin Wood.

Alanie Lacy is a senior and was nominated by the DHS Cross Country team. She is the daughter of Ron and Misty Lacy. Alainie has been a member of the DHS cross country team for 3 years. She is also a member of BETA and National honor society. After high school, Alainie plans to attend college and find a career that she loves. She also plans to travel the world as much as she can. Alanie is escorted by Austin Daniels. Austin is a senior at DHS and the son of John and Lori Daniels. When asked to describe Alanie, Austin said she is highly intelligent, extremely nice, and beautiful.

Destiny Durham is a senior at DHS and was nominated by the Varsity Football team. She is the daughter of Josh and Donna Durham. Destiny is a member of Beta Club. After high school, Destiny plans to attend college at SEMO and get a degree in accounting and business administration. Destin is escorted tonight by senior, CJ Greene. He is the son of Casey and Tonya Greene. When asked to describe Destiny, CJ said, I love her smile, her goofy personality, and her eyes.

Makayla is a member of the Varsity Basketball and Volleyball teams as well as Senior BETA Club, PEP Club, and FCA. After high school, Makayla plans to attend a 4 year university. Makayla is escorted by Andrew Ellinghouse. Andrew is a senior at DHS and the son of Dave and Amy Ellinghouse. When asked to describe Makayla, Andrew said she is funny, pretty, and his best friend.

Jaycee Chappell is a senior and was nominated by the DHS Cross Country team. Jaycee is the daughter of Brandon and Carrie Chappell. She is a member of the DHS Cross Country team, Beta Club, National Honor Society, Pep Club, HOSA, FCCLA, and FBLA. After high school, Jaycee plans to attend a four year college and practice nursing. Jaycee is escorted by Logan Josupait. Logan is a sophomore at DHS and the son of Christi and Jason Josupait. When asked to describe Jaycee, Logan said she is smart, funny, and kind.

Bailey Chamberlain is a senior at DHS and was nominated by the girls' volleyball team. She is the daughter of Kris and Amie Chamberlain. Bailey plays Varsity Volleyball and Varsity Basketball and she is a member of HOSA, Beta Club, National Honor Society, Pep Club, and FCA. After high school, Bailey plans to continue her volleyball career and attend a four year university. Bailey is escorted tonight by Ryan Collier. Ryan is a senior at DHS and the son of Russ and Suzanne Collier. When asked to describe Bailey, Ryan said she is beautiful, smart, and caring.

Myah is involved in Drama, speech and debate, girls tennis, pep club, Skills USA Industrial arts club, scholar bowl, and school musicals. She also sings in chamber choir, honors choir, women's choir, and concert choir. After high school, Myah plans to attend a 4 year university, major in political science and become a lawyer. Myah is escorted tonight by Caleb Coons. Caleb is a senior at DHS and the son of Joshua and Holly Coons. When asked to describe Myah, Caleb said she is the smartest, most beautiful, and courageous person he has ever met.

The retiring 2019 Homecoming Queen is Rachel Lin. Rachel is a junior at DHS and the daughter of Min Lin. She is a member of Student council, HOSA, Pep Club, Senior Beta Club, FCCLA, Art Club, athletic leadership council, and Rotary Interact. Rachel also serves as the Vice President of FBLA. She is in the top ten percent of her class and a member of the varsity football and basketball cheer squads and varsity track and field. After high school, Rachel plans to attend college and pursue a career in the medical field. Rachel is escorted by Camden Riley. Camden is a junior at DHS and the son of Andy & Natalie Riley. Camden describes Rachel as smart, athletic, and kind.
