U.S. Congressman Jason Smith visits area farm

As part of his summer of agricultural stops, U.S. Congressman Jason Smith made a stop at Flowers Fish Farm northwest of Dexter Friday morning. The farm was founded 55 years ago by Kevin and Bill Flowers and has 425 acres of water in the operation. Congressman Smith spoke to the Flowers family about the process involved in the operation and their concerns regarding the farm. Congressman Smith then took a tour of the facility.
