Bernie Schools Honor Veterans

Bernie Schools held its annual Veterans Day ceremony Monday morning in the high school gym. The day started with a breakfast for the Veterans in attendance prior to the ceremony. The Veterans were give booklets of essays and poems written by the students as a gift. The Bernie High School Band played the national anthem as well as other patriotic songs. The third grade classes sang while spelling out America and waving flags.
