2019 Splash and Dash 5K

The 2019 Splash and Dash 5K took place Friday at East Park in Dexter. Proceeds benefited the student success fund at Three Rivers College in Dexter. The first male to cross the finish line in a time of 20:35 was Gavin Cartwright. The first overall female with a time of 27:39 was Johnna Costigan. Other winners were 19 and under, Matthew Wost - 1st and Delo Watson - 2nd; 20 - 29 age group, Kyle Stearns - 1st and Taylor Stearns - 2nd; 30 - 39 age group, Drew Strickland - 1st, Rachel Strickland - 2nd and Jennifer Murphy - 3rd; 40 - 49 age group, Peter Tjaarda - 1st and Jennifer Garrig - 2nd; 50 - 59 age group, Will Webb - 1st and Damon Cartwright - 2nd; and 60 and over Clare Kenner.
