The fun continues at summer school in Dexter. Students from pre kindergarten through middle school were treated to bounce houses and Sonic slushes. The second grade students made their own slime as well. Debbie Koenig from Mingo also visited Southwest Elementary summer school students. She talked to the students about animal habitats and about the wildlife that lives at Mingo. She brought a friend with her, a speckled king snake to show the students. Koening talked to the students about venomous snakes and how to tell if a snake is venomous. Central Elementary and middle school summer school students were able to take a trip to Mingo.
